Vishay purchased Celtron in 2002. Celtron was engaged in the production and sale of load cells used in digital scales for the weighing industry, with manufacturing facilities and offices in Taiwan, the People's Republic of China, and California. Today, Vishay Celtron is one of the brands within the Vishay Transducers division of Vishay Measurements Group. Former Celtron products—with the exception of strain gages—are now branded Vishay Celtron.
