M-Coat FBT

Description
Solvent-thinned butyl rubber designed to provide excellent moisture protection with low reinforcement effects. Principally used in transducers. Exhibits a paste-like consistency and is normally applied with a spatula . Thickness over 0.1 in (2.5mm) not recommended.


M-Coat FBT Kit

Cure Requirements
Air dry 8 hours, followed by an elevated temperature cure of +150° to +175°F (+65° to +80°C) for 4 to 6 hrs.

Operating Temperature Range
0° to +175°F (-20° to +80°C)

Shelf Life *
12 months at +75°F (+24°C)
