Readout Module with Peak-Hold Feature

Description
This plug-in module provides digital readout with peak-hold capability. Both maximum and minimum signals are stored independently. Additionally, front-panel jacks are provided for utility inputs such as the bridge excitation supplied to the signal conditioners via their excitation monitor jacks.

Each module contains its own power supply which utilizes line voltage from the 2250A Rack Adapter or 2260A Portable Enclosure .

Digital Display: 4-1/2 digit (+19 999 counts) LED.
Display Mode Max/Min: Selects the stored peak value for display.
Display Mode Track/Peak Hold: Selects real time or stored peak value.
Channel Input: Selects one of nine inputs.
Reset Auto Off/On: Selects automatic or manual reset.
Reset Manual: Resets both MAX and MIN peaks.
External Jacks: Accepts input, typically bridge excitation from signal conditioner front panel.
Auto Reset: Adjusts reset period.
EXT Reset Jack: Accepts signal to reset peak remotely.

Track:
Display follows input voltage.

Peak Hold:
Displays one of the stored peak values.

MAX:
Selects the MAX stored value.

MIN:
Selects the MIN stored value.

Accuracy:
Step Input:
+ 0.1 % + 4 counts for step input up to 15V >4 msec duration.

Repetitive Step Input:
      + 0.1 % + 4 counts for repetitive step inputs of >300 microsec duration.
      Minimum number of steps required: 4 msec/pulse duration.

Repetitive Sine Wave:
      + 5% + 4 counts for repetitive sine wave input of <1000 Hz.
      + 0.5% + 4 counts for repetitive sine wave input of <100 Hz.

Hold Stability:
<1 count/minute typical, 2 counts/minute maximum averaged over 5-minute period.

Reset Capability:
Manual or automatic timed reset of MAX and MIN peaks. Optoisolator input requires 2 to 30V (<5 mA at 5V) for 0.1 msec minimum.
