This sequence describes how to use M-Bond AE-10 and AE-15 epoxy adhesives to bond polyimide-backed strain gages with Micro-Measurements EA-Series . 
Five basic operations are required: 
Gage Preparation
Gage Transfer
Adhesive Mixing
Gage Bonding
Tape Removal
Prior to performing these operations, the surface must be properly prepared . In this case the specimen is an aluminum alloy beam. The use of safety glasses is recommended when handling curing agents. |
