Gage Transfer Use a 6 inch length of cellophane tape to transfer the gage. Center the tape over the gage and terminal assembly, then press one end to the work surface. 
Hold the tape at a shallow angle while smoothing it onto the gage, terminals, and work surface. 
Lifting the tape at a shallow angle to prevent stretching the unbonded gage, remove it from the work surface.
