The subject of this sequence is general-purpose leadwire attachment for static and dynamic measurements with Micro-Measurements EA-Series gages. A quarter-bridge installation will be demonstrated using the three-wire method of leadwire temperature compensation. 
Six basic operations are required: 
Leadwire Stripping
Leadwire Preparation and
Tinning
Gage and Terminal Tinning
Leadwire Attachment
Rosin Removal
Leadwire Anchoring
The use of safety glasses is recommended during soldering operations. |
