This sequence covers leadwire attachment on Micro-Measurements CEA-Series gages, for static strain measurement. In this sequence we will make a quarter-bridge installation. It will incorporate the three-wire method of leadwire temperature compensation. 
Six basic operations are required: 
Leadwire Stripping
Leadwire Preparation and
Tinning
Gage Tinning
Leadwire Attachment
Rosin Removal
Leadwire Anchoring
The use of safety glasses is recommended during soldering operations. |
