Surface Preparation
Surface preparation for bonding is essentially identical to that described in Bulletin B-129, Surface Preparation for Strain Gage Bonding , for gages with preattached leadwires. Temporarily secure the cable bundle to the specimen, and, using the transfer tape, position the gage for bonding.
