Description and Primary Application

Isoelastic foil in combination with tough, flexible polyimide backing. High gage factor and extended fatigue life excellent for dynamic measurements. Not normally used in static measurements due to very high thermal-output characteristics.


Temperature Range

Dynamic: -320 deg to +400 deg F (-195 deg to +205 deg C)

Strain Range

+ 2%
Nonlinear at strain levels over + 0.5%

Fatigue Life

10 ⁶ cycles at + 2500 microstrain
10 ⁷ cycles at + 2200 microstrain
