Description and Primary Application

Fully encapsulated constantan gages with high-endurance leadwires. Useful over wider temperature ranges and in more extreme environments than EA Series . Option W available on some patterns, but restricts fatigue life to some extent.

Temperature Range

Normal: -100 deg to +400 deg F (-75 deg to +205 deg C)
Special or Short-Term:-320 deg to +500 deg F (-195 deg to +260 deg C)

Strain Range

+ 2%

Fatigue Life

10 ⁵ cycles at + 2000 microstrain
10 ⁶ cycles at + 1800 microstrain
10 ⁷ cycles at + 1500 microstrain
