Vishay Intertechnology to be Key Participant in European Electronic Components Conference

MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA - September 25, 2000 - Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH), will be a key participant in CARTS-Europe 2000, to be held 16-20 October 2000 at theCrowne Plaza Hotel in Brussels, Belgium. Now in its 14th year in Europe, the annual European Passive Components Conference(CARTS-Europe) showcases products, technologies, and market trends that are shaping the global passive-component industry.

Passive components (so-called because they do not amplify DC current or voltage) represent 60% to 90% of the parts in a typical electronic product.
