MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA - November 14, 2002 - Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH), a global leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components, held product demonstrations and launched new products at the electronica 2002 trade show, held November 12 through 15 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre in Munich, Germany. Several of these products were highlighted by Dr. Felix Zandman, Chairman and CEO of Vishay, at his November 12 electronica 2002 press conference. Electronica is Europe's largest trade show devoted to components and assemblies in electronics. Attendees include senior management and other personnel from a wide range of companies in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Dr. Zandman has stated, "We are very excited about the opportunities presented by the acquisition of BCcomponents.
