For more information: Vishay Releases New High-Speed 1 Form A Solid-State Relay With 800-μs Turn-On/Turn-Off Times and Low 0.25-Ω On-Resistance
MALVERN, Pa. — September 5, 2007 — Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today released a new 1 Form A solid-state relay offering designers fast switching speeds and low on-resistance for a variety of test and measurement and industrial applications. The VO14642AT features a fast typical switching speed of 800 μs that provides higher throughput in test equipment, as well as low on-resistance of 0.25 Ω that permits the use of multiple relays in applications needing low power consumption and heat dissipation. The relay is rated for a high 2-A DC maximum load current, and a load voltage of 60 V. An optically isolated device, the VO14642AT provides 5300 V of input-to-output isolation. The relay offers clean, bounce-free switching and is TTL/CMOS-compatible. Available in tape and reel packing, the device features pure tin leads. Samples of the new VO14642AT 1 Form A solid-state relay are available now. Production quantities will be available in August 2007, with lead times of four to six weeks for large orders.
