Vishay Intertechnology’s VLHW4100 White 3 mm LED Chosen as Product of the Year by Electronic Products China Magazine
Device Utilizes Ultrabright InGaN Technology to Achieve High Luminous Intensity From 4,500 mcd to 11,250 mcd
MALVERN, Pa. — March 21, 2011 —Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced that its VLHW4100 white LED in a 3 mm T-1 package was chosen as a winner of Electronic Products China magazine’s 2010 Product of the Year Awards.
Winners of the Product of the Year Awards were determined by the editors of Electronic Products China, who evaluated hundreds of products launched in China’s electronics market in 2010 on the basis of innovative design, significant advancement in technology or application, and substantial achievement in price and performance. Vishay’s VLHW4100 was selected because of its demonstrated success in the LED category.
The Electronic Products China 2010 Product of the Year Award winners were announced in the February 2011 issue of the magazine with a brief description of each product. The VLHW4100 offers low thermal resistance down to 400 K/W and power dissipation up to 95 mW.
