Vishay Extends WSL Series of Power Metal Strip Resistors: Low-Value WSL3921 and WSL5931 Provide High Accuracy in Current-Sensing Applications
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announces the release of two new low-value, surface-mount Power Metal Strip® resistors with power ratings of 3.0 W and 5.0 W and extremely low resistance values down to 0.2 m#&937;.
• Offer superior electrical performance resulting from a proprietary processing technique and all-welded construction
• Allow designers to use less-expensive ICs and help end systems to operate at maximum performance
• Operate singly to take the place, in some cases, of multiple high-value resistors running in parallel
• Feature a solid metal nickel-chrome or manganese-copper alloy resistive element
