Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announces the new SMR1DZ and SMR3DZ ultra-high-precision Z-Foil molded surface-mount resistors, which provide a low typical TCR of ±0.05 ppm/°C from 0 °C to +60 °C and ±0.2 ppm/°C from −55 °C to +125 °C, an excellent PCR (“ΔR due to self heating”) of ±5 ppm at rated power, tolerances ±0.01 %, and a load life stability of 0.005 %.

  • Built on Vishay’s breakthrough “Z- foil” technology
    • Provides a significant reduction of the resistive component’s sensitivity to ambient temperature variations (TCR) and applied power changes (PCR)
    • Improves stability by an order of magnitude compared to any other resistor technology, allowing designers to guarantee a high degree of accuracy in fixed-resistor applications
  • Flexible terminations ensure minimal stress transference from the PCB
