New WSLS2512 Surface-Mount Power Metal Strip® Resistor
The Key Benefits:
Current sensing in high-temperature (+125 ºC) applications
Greater stability with maximum resistance change of 0.5 % through a 2000-hour workload
Proprietary manufacturing techniques result in a very low 0.01-Ω to 0.1-Ω resistance value range
Durable with all-welded construction and a solid metal nickel-chrome alloy resistive element
The Key Applications: Current sensing in high-temperature (+125 ºC), tightened-stability applications that require precision current monitoring of sensitive circuits, such as automotive electronic controls including engine, transmission and pollution controls.
The News:
Vishay’s New WSLS2512 Surface-Mount Power Metal Strip® Resistor Offers Increased Stability With Low Resistance Change of 0.5 % in Low Resistance Values of 0.01 Ω to 0.1 Ω
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announces a new surface-mount Power Metal Strip® resistor that offers improved resistance stability during operation with a maximum resistance change of 0.5 % through a 2000-hour workload. By comparison, the typical current sensing resistor has a resistance stability of ≥1 % through a 1000-hour workload.
Specially selected materials which allow for current sensing in high-temperature (+125 ºC), tightened-stability applications
Features all-welded construction with a solid metal nickel-chrome alloy resistive element for enhanced resistance stability
Manufactured using proprietary techniques that result in extremely low resistance values
