New WSLT2512 1-W Surface-Mount Power Metal Strip® Resistor
The Key Benefits:
Temperature range up to +275 °C allows for use in harsh environments
Save space and replace larger resistors with a very small 2512 case size
Proprietary manufacturing techniques result in a very low 10-mΩ to 500-mΩ resistance value range
Durable with all-welded construction and a solid metal nickel-chrome alloy resistive element
Lead (Pb)-free construction is RoHS-compliant
The Key Applications:
Current sensing, voltage division, and pulse applications in automotive engine controls, safety controls, multi-media electronics, climate controls, and anti-lock brakes; and industrial oil/gas well drilling, including down hole test/measurement equipment
The News:
Vishay’s New WSLT2512 1-W Surface-Mount 2512 Power Metal Strip® Resistor Is Industry’s First to Offer Temperature Range of –65 °C to +275 °C
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced a new high-temperature 1-W surface-mount Power Metal Strip® resistor that is the industry’s first current sensing resistor in the 2512 case size to operate in a temperature range of –65 °C to +275 °C. The WSLT2512 resistor features a very low 10-mΩ to 500-mΩ resistance value range, a tight tolerance down to ±0.5 %, and low RTC values down to ±75 ppm/°C.
The temperature range and small case size of the resistor allow it to replace larger current sensing resistors
Robust specifications allow it to be used in harsh environments without sacrificing power rating or electrical performance
Manufactured using proprietary techniques that result in extremely low resistance values
Key Device Specifications:
