The Perspective: Vishay Precision Trimmers have the Bulk Metal® Foil resistive element which possesses a unique inherent temperature and load-life stability. In addition, their advanced, virtually backlash-free adjustment mechanism makes them easy to set quickly and accurately and keeps the setting exactly on target. The multifingered foil wiper has a very high natural frequency allowing the trimmer to retain its setting under vibration better than other devices, and an o-ring around the adjustment screw prevents the ingress of fluids during any board cleaning operation.
