An extremely small amount of liquid vitamins must be added to a continuous-feed pet food production process.

Adding a small quantity of liquid vitamins to a continuous-feed pet food production process eliminates most measurement technology options. Due to the enormous imbalance in the pet-food-to-vitamin weight ratio, conventional batch-by-weight systems are excluded as technology options. Continuous processing (ribbon blender mixing to conveyor throughput) also precludes the use of weight-based batching equipment.
