Vishay Intertechnology Announces “Super 12” Featured Products for 2015

Vishay BCcomponents 196 HVC ENYCAP™ Hybrid ENergY Storage Capacitors — With their low 2.5 mm profiles and industry-high energy density of 13 Ws/g, the capacitors save space in energy harvesting and power line backup applications, while their wide variety of layouts, capacitance values, and voltage ratings provide exceptional flexibility.
Vishay Siliconix SiHP33N60EF / EF Series of Fast Body Diode N-Channel Power MOSFETs — Built on second-generation superjunction technology, EF series devices offer a 10x lower reverse recovery charge (Qrr) than standard MOSFETs for increased reliability. The 33 A SiHP33N60EF features ultra-low on-resistance of 98 Ω to save energy in high-power, high-performance switch mode applications.
Vishay Sfernice Massive Electro-Pyrotechnic Igniter Chip (MEPIC) Resistor —Offering Joule effect or flash ignition for fast firing times down to 250 µs, the MEPIC resistor provides very predictable, reproducible, and reliable behavior with firing energy down to 1.5 mJ and an ohmic range of 1 Ω to 8 Ω.
Vishay Siliconix SiC620R VRPower® Integrated DrMOS Power Stage — The next-generation SiC620R is offered in the new 5 mm by 5 mm PowerPAK® MLP55-31L package with dual side cooling, which enables 70 A and 95 % efficiency in typical multiphase buck converter designs, while reducing power losses by 20 %.

Vishay Siliconix -20 V Si7157DP TrenchFET® P-Channel Gen III Power MOSFET —Designed to increase efficiency in mobile computing devices, the Si7157DP offers the lowest on-resistance ever for a p-channel MOSFET, while the device's compact 6.15 mm by 5.15 mm PowerPAK® SO-8 package saves valuable PCB space.
Vishay Beyschlag MMA 0204 HV and MMB 0207 HV Professional Thin Film High-Voltage MELF Resistors — For medical equipment and other electronics where reliability and stability are primary concerns, the MMA 0204 HV and MMB 0207 HV combine a robust construction with high continuous operating voltage to 1000 V and a surge voltage rating to 3 kV.

Vishay BCcomponents AY2 Series Automotive-Grade Ceramic Safety Capacitors — Designed to provide high reliability for Class X1 (440 VAC) and Y2 (300 VAC) automotive applications, the AC-line-rated ceramic disc safety capacitors are optimized for on-board chargers and battery management in electric cars and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV).
