Vishay's integrated proximity and ambient light sensors offer 16-bit resolution which allows design engineers to place the sensor at any depth or air gap without the ADC overflowing or saturating. Even with this superior performance, power consumption is extremely low. This current estimator will help you determine how much current is required for your application.
