The consumer sector includes both home appliances and entertainment products. Types of components manufactured by Vishay are used in home appliances such as air conditioners, washing machines and dryers, refrigerators and freezers, and robotic vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers. They also are used in smartwatches, fitness bands, media streaming devices, TVs, e-book readers, game consoles, smartglasses, virtual reality systems, and more.
