HVCC Series
Leaded high voltage ceramic capacitors are commonly used in high voltage generators for a large variety of applications. These include medical and industrial X-ray applications such as dental or baggage scanners. In generators, the capacitors are mainly used to build up the voltage multiplier cascade. The required number of components is high, as up to 30 are necessary for one cascade. Furthermore, the capacitors are used in generator output filters.
