High power GRE1 Series grid resistors feature an all welded construction using stainless steel plates with a variety of resistance paths. The resistor features its own IP00 rated supporting frame and can be designed with IP20 and IP23 rated enclosures. The advantage becomes a very robust resistor capable of absorbing high energy pulses, repeatedly.
With applications in: AC and DC drives, renewable energy, wind turbines, inverters, harmonic filters, load banks, neutral grounding and dynamic braking.
