Vishay Milwaukee Resistor - RB Series – Ribwound
High power RB Series ribwound resistors are constructed using crimped ribbon wire resistance alloy that is wound on edge over a ceramic core and held in place by a vitreous enamel or silicone coating. The advantage becomes superior heat dissipation in a smaller physical package as compared to roundwire resistors of similar capacity.
With applications in: AC and DC drives, renewable energy, wind turbines, HVAC systems, CNC controls, lighting systems, welding equipment, inverters, harmonic filters, battery monitoring and dynamic braking.
